Why a temporary office? And what is the benefit to the company?
Rust Street Interactive has offices from Columbia to Estonia, and four of them are located in the city of "Good Thoughts" - Tartu. The desire is to move the entire Estonian team to one place, but in order to control the growth of the team, we had to start with the creation of a temporary office.
A small-scale, in-depth development of a temporary office created an excellent opportunity to test ideas from room planning to interior finishing solutions, which will later be implemented in a large shared office. This approach helps the company save money by testing ideas on a small scale and avoiding mistakes on a large scale.
LÄVI carried out both the design, the supply of furnishings and lighting, and the project management. The project was created with the aim of solving the future joint office in the same key and as much furniture as possible, designed loose or demountable, which can be used in the new joint office.
The concept of the interior comes from where the company even comes from, Chicago's Rush Street, but in a modern way.
On the plan of the room, an internal street can be seen, which is bordered by two different facades. A modern tall glass wall separates the office's light-toned workspaces from a lower, darker volume with small meeting rooms, speech booths and a gym area.
The street leads out to the kitchen and dining area, with the choice of materials hinting at its suitability for the outdoor space as well. In addition to eating, the dining area also fulfills the functions of resting, socializing and holding joint events.
